Short Biography

Dan­ny began with a sales appren­tice­ship and then trained in the com­mer­cial sec­tor. While work­ing in a bank, he also became heav­i­ly involved in fit­ness and sport. Dur­ing this time, he trained as a group fit­ness train­er and spe­cial­ized in the Pilates method. Short­ly after­wards, he appeared as a lec­tur­er at inter­na­tion­al fit­ness con­ven­tions in Switzer­land and Germany.

This rein­forced his new­found pas­sion for fit­ness and sport, and so he deep­ened his exper­tise in core sta­bil­i­ty in con­nec­tion with Pilates and reha­bil­i­ta­tion, as well as in cor­po­rate health man­age­ment for the psy­che and work. Although he was not a friend from sport as a teenag­er, he embarked on a com­plete­ly new path in life. He turned his back on the bank, then worked at the Swiss Acad­e­my of Fit­ness & Sports in Zurich, set up his own busi­ness and began his career in health­care as a trainer/lecturer. Dur­ing this time, Dan­ny pub­lished numer­ous fit­ness & health columns and appeared as a health expert in var­i­ous mag­a­zines and newspapers.

Dan­ny Birch­ler works as a health spe­cial­ist lec­tur­er “Health and Reha­bil­i­ta­tion” / lec­tur­er “Health at Work” and is active on var­i­ous social media plat­forms. He devel­oped the health pro­grams “In-flight Health Care” for trav­el­ling by air­planes, “Fit on the Job” for the office and home office and the “Clin­i­cal Pilates Method” for the “PilatesCare” reha­bil­i­ta­tion train­ing. He is the man­ag­ing direc­tor of his com­pa­ny “Health Man­age­ment & PilatesCare GmbH”.
